Composition

The Audit Committee is a seven-person board, at least three of whose members are French-speaking  and at least three  are Dutch-speaking. They are assigned a six-year term of office. The members are independent experts boasting top-level capabilities and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• accounting and public finances
• personnel management 
• computing and new technologies 
• social affairs 
• economic  affairs
• public health and the environment 

The head of the Finance Inspectorate participates by rights in the meetings, in an advisory capacity, without any voting rights.
